Ar fi putut fi o poveste interesanta....pacat ca m-am plictisit de ea pe la ultimu cap si am nasolit-o(desi e f comica). In fine....urmeaza acuma :
#It's the end of the second age.Many things have happened since the first age has ended.
The war with the orcs ended well for humans,the power of the gods starting to fade...But the most
important thing that has come to happen was the rise of a man who altered the fate of this world.
The strange thing is that nobody can remember his name. He shall remain in the pages of history
as an unknown stranger,the one who banished a demon,the one who defeated the dragons...but
most important,the one who imprisoned Beliar...The Chosen of Innos.My name is Duriel and my story starts now...
# I woked up in one morning when my grandfather camed to me :
- Diego : It's time my son...
- Duriel: What do you mean?
- Diego : Remember the tales i've told you, about that guy who made all those impresive things?
- Duriel: Of course...Everyone heard of him...
- Diego : He was my best friend.Acctually if it hadn't been for him we wouldn't have this life in the upper quarter.
But not this is important...I made him once a prommise, short time before i had your mother.
He said that he had to go somewhere...he couldn't told me where, but that he won't return.
I just knew that it will break Nadja's heart. You see, she was pregneant, and when he found out...
Well let's just say that he wasn't very happy. Something about a rule broken, didn't quite understand.
Anyway, when he left he told me that i would take care of Nadja and the child so that's what i did,
I'ved moved back in Khorinis, in the upper quarter were we lived happily.
- Duriel: Diego, what have you done, does my mother know about this?
- Diego : No! And it should remain that way...
# Meanwhile, at the entrance in the upper quarter some noises could be heard...
- Guard1: Listen sir...If you don't have an apprentiship with one of the masters or if you aren't a member of the miltia you
can't enter.
- Guard2(with a face of a morron): Only the respectable citizens of the city live here.
# The man wich tried to enter the upper quarter was dressed with a black robe,sligthy covering his eyes wich gaved him a
misterious aura.
The guards were talking with their hands prepared to draw their swords. Suddenly the man started to talk
with a voice wich even a shadowbeast would run from it.
- Mysterious Man : Lisssten to me.....You will let me enter...I mussst ssssolve my quest!
# At that moment the guards draw their weapons and a few more guards and two paladins started to run at the gate.
- Duriel: Is this has to do something with my birthday? I mean...it's quite odd that you would tell me the truth on this day.
- Diego : Yes...Just before He leaved He told me with these words : "And on the first day of 18 birthday of my first son you Diego,
my friend, you will tell him the truth about his father...He should forgive me for this but I can't do it another way, I
must take my departure.
All that he needs to know is that he is special, sooner or later evil will come back, Beliar won't stay imprisoned very much
time and he will sense my sons presence in this world.
It will try to destroy him or even worse, to make him come by his side."
Those were his words, he gave me a letter that I should give you at this moment.
# I've opened the letter and inside was a note with the same words of Diego's and a map. It was a map of the old colony
with a "X" on it.
I asked Diego what used to be on that X and he said that it was Xardas' old tower. I've heards stories about Xardas the
Necromancer,the Avatar of Beliar but after my grandfather killed him he was easily forgoten.
I didn't managed to put the letter well in my pocket when i saw a black cloud over the entire city and at the gate a bright
light when all off a sudden i saw two paladins thrown a few metters by my side,
two guards running and the other two were in the air above a dark man(at the first sight of him my legs started to tremble
and my body started to grow heavy. He started to suck out the life of those two guards
when all of the sudden he looked at me. One step followed by another i felt like I should run but as closer as he
gotten to me I wanted to approach him.
Moments after i saw Diego drawing his sword and screaming at me to run, to go to Jharkendar and join the pirates...All i know from
that moment was that the man who looked after my family started to scream in pain, his body collapsed in a shockwave of
death and destruction.
Then i realised that the mysterious creature was "the evil" wich my grandfather has talked about. I've runned at the wall,
climbed it and jumped over the dome were a priest of adanos is always preaching. From there i jumped over some crates and
left for the tavern outside the city. While entering the tavern i could hear from the city screams
and strucks of lighting, men fighting creatures... a war zone. The owner locked the tavern after I entered and with the gold i
had in my pockets i've rented a room for a day or two.
# End of chapter 1.
# After a few days, i just went out hunting wolves and scavengers, managed to gain some experience from this, but most important is that i had something to eat and pay
the owner of the tavern for the rent. The hunt was pretty easy having an impressive strength. That's the advantage of having a smith as a father. The most odd thing
is that i met a very old guy somewhere near the tavern(he had a camp). He says he was a hunter but by the look of his armor and weapons i would say
that he was a fighter. He mummbled his name, I don't think it's correct : Gorn. Diego told me about a Gorn who was friend with him and my grandfather
but i don't think it's the same person altough his eyes started to glow when he saw me for the first time but as i aproached him he lost his interest.
He might had confused me with somebody. Anyway, I lost count of the days spent in my bed thinking about my grandfather about Diego, I don't think that
my parents are alive anymore, I asked myself alot of times what will i do, I can't remain here forever, even if the owner wouldn't mind. There hasn't been a new customer
since the attack on the city. Soon i'll have to leave this place but go where? I don't have a home, a place where i can sleep. I'm not an adventurer, i'm not made for this.
All my friends are dead, everybody that i knew is gone, what can i do? At that point i reached my hand in the pockest and discovered the letter from my father.
I read it again, looked at the map and all of the sudden it hit me. I'll go to that place. All i need is some good armor, a respectable weapon and some healing potions.
I've managed to buy a pretty good weapon from the tavern owner but where will i get an armor? Perhaps that old guy could give me one. Or i'll just take the one his wearing...
No, i'm not like that, i'll just see what does he want for it. I've left a tip to the owner along with the key from the room,buyed the weapon and left.
As i reached at the camp i saw that there was no sign of life. When i entered the hut i saw that old guy lying in his bed...He was dead...I had no choice but to take the armor
and some weapons. I started walkin for the pass, killing allmost every animal. When i've reached the pass i couldn't believe my eyes. A camp of orcs. I think that they're orcs because
i didn't had the pleasure of ever seeing one and by count nobody ever taught that they even exist anymore. I tried my luck with one of them who wandered away from the camp. Let's just say
that i won't do that very soon. He almost killed me, if it weren't for gorn's weapon i would have died for sure. After crossing the pass i looked over the valey and what have i saw...
Camps of some like of lizards but they could walk in two legs and had weapons. A few camps of orcs but i think that they were fighting with the lizardmen.
I tried to stay away from anyone of them and walk through the shadows.
So, I managed to reach that bloody tower but it's deserted. So i started to look through the chests and found a rune. I think it's a teleporting rune(it had a pentagram engraved on it).
I activated and teleported in a room, saw some stairs and climbed them. There i saw a skelet of a person lying down on the floor, a huge magical tome and a chest.
I've opened the chest and i had almost fallen down...thousands and thousands of gold, the most impressive armor that i ever seen(it looked like it was made from ore), a weapon with a huge
gem that was glowing blue and a little journal. I've closed it back and taked a good look at the skelet and i started smooking a stalk of weed. I tooked the journal and started to read it.
It tooked me days to finish it but one thing is for certain, it was the journal of my grandfather and what he done...by innos, he was more than a hero...i think that only Diego and a handfull of
people knew that he was responsible for the fall of the barier. In his last writings he mentioned something about making a mistake with Nadja...he said that it was neccesary to find out some information
about a smuggler with weed...he made love with her and left her pregneant. He said something about a god, Indoril...can't understand, i think that he gone mad but one thing is for certain...he had to die so
he plunged a dagger in his chest...those artifacts are my legacy but i must read the the tome to understand my origins...What can i do? I didn't understand nothing from his last writtings, maybe if i would read the toma
it will all become clear but i'm afraid of that thing to even touch it. I must do it....
# End of chapter 2.
# Reading the tome :
" I, Indoril the Evil, Indoril the Good and Indoril the Wise created this world. But made me very tired, i want to rest for a long time. The people need something to believe in...and one good is too much for them.
I will have three sons wich will represent me as I sleep. So this will be done...Innos to be god of justice, of good and everything that is pure, Beliar to be the god of everything that is evil and Adanos to be powerfull
than both of them so he may watch the balance beetwen them. I will go to sleep and leave them the world."
# As i reached the end of the page, the writting started to fade out and something else started to appear...
" I've slept enough, my sons have done a great job for me...but i will have to take their powers so the people know who are their real god."
# The writting started to appear in red....
" This cannot be...my sons refuse my return and i must admmit that i made them too powerful. But not is all lost, i will prepare a surprise for them"
" I will go in a land called Myrthana as a human, just before i give Beliar a little more power so i can start a war between them. They will bring their own destruction and I will rise to banish all three of them."
- Duriel: This cannot be...
# In that moment 3 immages appeared near me : one was dark and an aura of evil surrounds it, one was bright and pure and the other looked the powerfull than both of them. I think that they are...
- Innos : So, now you know the truth...you are our brother...
- Beliar: Yeah, but you are nothing more than a mistake, you don't have the right to exist.
- Adanos: Please, brothers...let him a moment...it's too much knowledge for his mind.
- Innos : There's no time now for this...Listen, you are our brother but you don't have all our powers...even i don't like i must agree with my brother, you don't have the right to live.
- Beliar: Ok,ok so...what do we need from you...Kill the bad guy and then take your life as our stupid father did.
- Adanos(angry): Beliar! How dare you...in the end he has the right to live as you do...
- Duriel: Please! Don't argue...what is this all about? I can't be a...
- Adanos: GOD! Yes...well actually you're a mortal god because you were given birth my our mortal father...ohh by the way, he's gone to sleep, as we will al do...
We have done alot of damage to this world so will just let humans on their own,we'll take all of the magic from this world so they won't destroy themselves. I can't immagine what morrons like Pyrokar will do left alone.
- Innos : That is correct...but we can't leave until a crazy avatar wich belongs to Beliar will be banished for ever.
- Duriel: But why don't you do it? I mean...you are all gods...
- Adanos: Yes...but our father's plan succeded, he has made us so weak because of all this fighting so we can't do anything...
- Beliar: I never agreed with that plan of "sleeping"...I won't do it....
# A huge lightball stroked Beliar and he dissapeared to thin air...
- Adanos: Don't mind Beliar, Induriel made a good job imprisoning him...we don't have enough power to destroy his avatar of evil but he doesn't have enough power to cast a lighting bolt...
- Innos : Speaking of that, we can't stay here too long...We'll give you the short version of the story...
When Indoril killed the dragons and cleaned this island from the orcs and lizardmen some of these creatures managed to hide...
After that as you know the avatar entered in xardas' body...even if he taught that it was his will, it was beliars will not xardas'.
Anyway when our father killed xardas he taught that the avatar has been banished but...it just found a lizardman and he entered in it...
# A short appearence of Beliar, just enough to say : To hell with you...
- Innos : He can become so stupid sometimes...So, we'll give you half of our power to destroy the avatar once and for all. The other half we'll need it to clean this world of magic and to put us ALL to sleep,
that means you too...
- Duriel: If that's neccesary I will do it...
- Adanos: It is!
# All of the sudden the two started to dissapear and I started to feel my body filled with power and wisdom...
# End of chapter 3.
- Duriel: Ok! So I found out that I'm a god(in somekind of way),those three act like some children with powers of gods and that I have to kill some freakin avatar of evil who found a nice place in the body of a lizardman.
Well...I should get starting.
# When I received those powers I found out that i can do alot of things. It's enough to say that I killed almost every orc or lizardman in the valley so nothing stopped me to go and banish that creature. But where to find it?
I've traveled every corner of that freakin colony and didn't find a thing. So i left the valley to free Khorinis from those creatures who taken control of the city.
So I'ved returned to the tavern where a batalion of paladins came to "free" the city. Of course, neither of them(less to say about their leader,Lord Gahen) knew what's inside. There they were for 7 or 8 days now
fighting with some orcs who were lead by a goblin. So i didn't even bother them and head to the city. To my surprise when i've entered the city I saw that avatar of evil. It was the Mysterious Man who started the all thing
in Khorinis. I had bribed to two trolls who were guarding the gate and managed to slip in town unnoticed.
So i killed everything wich stand in my way...and when i reached the avatar he gave the same boring speech about ruling the world so i killed it before he even finished talking.
To my surprise the lizardman died but the spirit of the avatar entered in one of the citizens who were kept as hostages. Of course i killed half of the city when I just reached at the Judge(the avatar entered in his body)
and remembered what adanos said : "banish it". So i opened a portal like the one in the back of the sleeper and gave it a kick in the ass through the portal.
Moments after the three appeared again.
- Adanos: Well done my brother.
- Innos(whispering to Adanos): Ok! Can't we cut out the "brother" crap now?
- Duriel(suspicious): What was that?
- Adanos(feel caught): Ohh...nothing, just...well,you know...
- Duriel: No, I don't know!
- Beliar: Ok...listen,you aren't our brother. That guy who saved you from the sleeper,dragons,etc was a hero. A real good one,actually. We didn't give you any power, it was actually a healing spell we cast on you so...
you did these things on your own...
- Duriel: But why? What happened to my grandfather? Why all this lie,where's Indoril?
- Adanos: You see...there isn't any Indoril and your grandfather died...weeell, Beliar just got mad that he couldn't be killed by the avatar so he just went down to him,your father was in the tower mourning his friend
Xardas(killed by his hand), and stabbed him in the back. And we did all of this because we just like watching people killing themselves...
- Innos: Not to say about those stupid paladins...they couldn't kill a molerat even if...well, you get the point.
- Duriel: This cannot be true...i'll kill you...
- All Three(laughing): Oh, our "brother"...don't take it so hard, you should have seen what we did to Bergmar or Y'Berion but your grandfather really felled for it,even if he was good...Ahhh, those were the good days...
# So they manage on building another Barier, I don't even want to know were did the orcs appeared again...probably in 2 years they'll manage on summoning another sleeper...
well, life goes on. The sad thing is that they acccused me for the murder of half of the population in khorinis and guess were i ended...BYE
