The Times 28-01-2025 :
" On this historic day 12 magicians lead by ArchMage Fangorn will attempt the resurrection of the only body
found in Myrthana. The name of this land was discovered by our scholars established on the long abandoned home planet Earth.
They think that he was the first mage which maked his remains stronger before the fading of time. The person
itself is considered to be a male. The strangest thing is that the body spreads a bit of magic wich makes the magicians wonder
if what they're doing is a smart thing."
Fangorn(proudly) : My fellow mages. We gathered here today so we can unite our powers once again for the summoning of a man wich existed
long before we left this planet.
Mage : But sir. If he is the only one left it may be that the planet was abandoned because of him.
Fangorn : That's just a guess. We can't know that for sure. (lowering his voice) And even if that were true how can a man
destroy us? We are the most powerfull force on this universe.
Mage : Yes, sir. As you command. (whispering to another mage) Someday we'll all get killed because of his pride.
# All of the mages started to raise their hands and a ritual of dancing lights with harmonic sounds filled the summoning room.
The table has been set. No one knew what they were doing...
After 10 min of incantations the body started to move...one of the mages stoped casting, another passed out and Fangorn started to tremble.
All becamed black when all of a sudden a creature went through the roof. After 2 hours the mages started to recover.
- Mage Marthak : What happened? Where's Fangorn? And what was that?
- Mage Vanderlost (in a state of shock) : That was a dragon!
- Mage Marthak : A dragon? But I taught that they existed long before any human was born.
- Scholar (exiting from the a dark corner of the room) : Yes. Their time of existence is a mistery even to me. But that was no mere dragon.
There is a short mention of a small group of dragons somewhere in the years of Rhobar II. But the recordings in the time hole are scrambled.
It's possible that somebody tamperred with the recordings or some dark forces prevents the worms to collect information.
Either way, those years were a chaos to humanity.
- Mage Marthak (mercyful): I beg your pardon (shouting) but what in the hell are you talking over there? And where is Fangorn?
- Scholar : Can I say my opinion?
- Mage Vanderlost : Nobody's stopping you.
- Scholar : That body over there is the body of a necromancer called Xardas. A ancient tale sais that in that period the humans believed
in three gods : Innos, Adanos and Beliar. Each one of them represented in the same order : good, neutral and evil.
- Mage Marthak : Yes! Yes! We all know those tales, tales for children, nothing more. You can't really mean that these gods were real.
- Scholar : No! They still are... even in these days there are a few cults praying for the first two.
- Mage Vanderlost : But what happened with the third?
- Scholar: Well, it's said that a hero defeated Beliar's chosen, his avatar of evil, third times. And after that people forgot about
the god.
- Mage Marthak : You can't forget a god! This is nonsence.
- Scholar : Of course you can't forget him! But they stopped praying for him because he was too evil. And a god when he is no longer
worshiped he loses his powers, falls asleep if you like.
- M. Marthak : So what are you saying? That we awaked this Beliar?
- Scholar : No! Just his avatar.
- M. Vanderlost : So what's with the dragon? And where is Fangorn? We need him now more than ever.
- Scholar : The avatar had three shapes : A demon, a dragon and finally, a necromancer called Xardas.
He can take any shape of the first two because the last one was a human and when he was destroyed he died but the spirit of the avatar was
imprisoned in his body. But he can't stay too much in those shapes, he needs a new one...
- M. Vanderlost : I don't think I'll like what I'll hear next...
- Scholar : Fangorn is the new chosen of Beliar. And considering that he was an archmage that's not very good.
- M. Vanderlost : We're doomed!
- M. Marthak : You don't mean you believe him! How can you know so much about this...it's impossible!
- Scholar : Oh, don't trouble your patethic mind with such questions. My knowledge is much more vast than you can immagine.
- M. Vanderlost : Who are you? And come to think of it, where are we and were are the other mages?
- Scholar : I've transported us to a spiritual plane where we could talk much easily. Your world as already begun to crumble beneath the power of Beliar.
- M. Vanderlost : Who are you? Scholars can't use magic.
- Scholar : My name is Vatras! I'm a water mage, a priest of Adanos. My existence in this world is tied by the soul of the avatar.
Adanos put me in charge of guarding the creatures soul so it won't do any harm again. But I've failed. And now I need your help.
- M. Vanderlost : What can we do?
- Scholar : It's time to call an old friend...
End of the first part.
# Vatras explained the rest of the story to the 2 mages and the things that they needed to do to start the summoning of his old friend.
- M. Vanderlost : If we're going to do this we should know his name...
- Vatras : You will soon understand that names aren't important...
# Vatras explained that the art of summoning is more complicated than they know...he needs their powers of magic to be able to cast an old
summoning spell. After hours of concentrating and relaxing Vatras started the ritual with an incantation of illusion. After this the other
two started to recite from a spell scroll wich Vatras gave to them. The ritual was long and hard but after this effort a gate had been established
between the world of the living and the world of the dead. Vatras entered the portal and after a long time he appeared with a man on his
back.
- M. Marthak(whispering) : What do you think? Is it him?
- M. Vanderlost : I don't think he would have brought him here for nothing if it wouldn't be him. He seems to know what he's doing...
- M. Marthak : That's what scares me, I don't and neither do you...
- M. Vanderlost : We just have to trust him...
- Vatras : Stop that babbling and help him!
- M. Vanderlost : But how? What cane we do?
- Vatras : You're a mage...cast some healing spells on him...I have to keep his spirit in to this world. But his body is to weak.
# The two mages casted some usual healing spells on the body but nothing seemed to happen.
- Vatras : Listen...you have to go back to your people so I can know what's happening.
- M. Marthak : We're both going?
- Vatras : Of course you're both going, do you want Fangorn to suspect something? This guy need to rest so he can recover his powers and
in the meantime you find out what you can.
# After that the Marthak and Vanderlost found themselves back to the colony established on Earth.
- M. Marthak : Ok, Vanderlost! We both go home and get a hour of sleep and after that we'll meet at the temple. It seems that nothing has
changed over here so a little bit of rest won't hurt.
# They both went in to their private quarters and after a hour of resting they've met at the temple with another mage.
- Mage : Marthak! Vanderlost! Fangorn is looking for you. He said that it was your fault for the accident at the ritual. You're both in big trouble.
I'm expected at a meeting of all the mages. We were instructed to find you and bring you at the meeting. Come on!
- M. Marthak(whispering to Vanderlost) : What in the name of...? This is to weird...
- M. Vanderlost : I know! Something not's good here! Did you saw his eyes? For a second I taught that they're "missing".
- M. Marthak : Vatras must do something soon or we'll be in big trouble.
# Entering the room were the meeting has place the two mages saw something wrong in this story. All of them were sitting at the table waiting
for Fangorn but they could sence the presence of something in the room.
- Fangorn (entering the room) : It seems that those two....Ahh there they are...
# Fangorn had a different robe on him...it was a black one and his eyes were glowing red while in his hand he kept a scepter filled with great magic.
His smile was an evil one and the look on his face maked the two mages to think that if they wouldn't do something they would not live longer. Marthak
throwed a fireball on the table to distract all of them and quickly teleported him and Vanderlost in his private quarters.
- M. Vanderlost : Well, that was the most intelligent thing you did in the last years.
- M. Marthak : Keep the thanks for yourself. We have to get out of here.
- Vatras(appearing from the corner of the room) : Indeed! You have to get out of here. And the safest place is near a lake in a big cave not far from here.
It used to be my former home. There, he will expect you to help him. He is still weak and needs your help. But you will not be alone. Even if you think that
this place was deserted there is still a village of people established in a former mine near the place you're going. This will be his first quest.
Tell him to join those people and lead them in a war with the colony lead by Fangorn.
- M. Marthak : I don't understand a thing. What are Fangorn's intentions? And why should we tell him? Where are you going?
- Vatras : It doesn't matter were I'm going. Do you think that if I could stay with you I wouldn't? I believe that Fangorn wants to go to your planet.
He haves no reason to remain here. This world is dead so he needs to go to another.
- M. Vanderlost : But he can't do that. At least not now. The storm doesn't allow him.
- Vatras : That will be enough time for our hero to get is powers back. You will stay in the cave while he'll go to the mine and join those people.
(shouting and dissapearing at the same time) You must stop Fangorn and his mages before he leaves this world. Or your world will have the same fate as this one.
- M. Marthak : Yeah right. But how can we get to that cave?
- M. Vanderlost : I think that's up to us.
End of part 2.
# After managing to escape from the colony the two found themselves in a valley with a hut in it. Near the hut some little strange creatures with sticks in their hands
started to attack them. At first the two got frightened but those little things couldn't do them any harm. After a while they've reached a bridge and on the left a big
entrance in a mountain could be seen. When they entered the mountain there was a little lake and some former fields in front of them. So after walking a little more they found the big cave
near the lake and entered. It looked to be a former camp or something because huts could be seen everywhere.
- M. Vanderlost : I think we found it.
- M. Marthak : Yes. Look upper there on that plateau. It's that guy. He's training with an old sword.
- M. Valderlost : How odd. Vatras said he was still weak. Guess he recovered faster than he believed. That's good.
- M. Marthak : Let's go to him.
- M. Vanderlost : (shouting) Hey you!
- Hero : Hy! Are you the ones who Vatras sent?
- M. Marthak : Yes, sir. It was very hard to reach here.
- Hero (laughing) : Yeah, sure. You should have been here when the dragons were. Now then, I would have believed you.
- M. Martahk(confused) : What?
- Hero : Doesn't matter. What did Vatras said I should do?
- M. Vanderlost : He said that there's a camp of people in some mine near this place. You should go to that place and become
their leader. We can't do this alone. By the way, what's your...?
- Hero (intrerrupts) : It doesn't matter what my name is. And Vatras was right. I'm pretty curios how those guys could have survived in that mine...
Though guys I think...Anyway, at least there won't be any minecrawlers.
- M. Marthak : Mine....? What?
- Hero : You're the morron, right? Can you stop with these questions?
- M. Vanderlost : Please there's no need for names. You said it yourself.
- Hero : Ok. I need to train before I'll go to that place. Where is that colony of yours?
- M. Vanderlost : Somewhere in the near S-E.
- Hero : Old Camp! It's a castle, no?
- M. Marthak : Yes! That's it...
- Hero(sigh) : Just go in that cave up there and search in those rooms for some powerfull magic.
I'll go hunting so I can gain some experience. I forgot alot of things.
- M. Vanderlost : Ok! How long will you be gone?
- Hero : Considering the situation...I don't know. Don't worry about me. Hope I'll found some weapons on my way.
# Vanderlost and Marthak went in the room of the former water mages and found a library still standing. I just hope they'll manage to find something to help me with.
Meanwhile I've got to recover my strength...Too much time has gone since I've held a good sword in my hands.
This is just great...3 hours wandered through the orc land but nothing more than a rusty sword and a few goblins. This isn't going to be easy. But I have to go in the mine.
Managed to enter the mine were 2 guys guard the room.
- Hero : Hy there!
- Guard (drawing their swords): Who' there? Are you one of those guys from the colony? You don't have any bussines in here...
- Hero(to himself) : How great, they have ore weapons.
Listen! I want to talk with your leader, I'm not from the colony...
- Guard : Prove it!
- Hero : If I were from the colony how in the name of Innos would I know about the ladder wich gets you to the lower level? And it's a long way down...
- Guard : What was that name you just said?
- Hero : Who, Innos? You know of him right?
- Guard : Come with us! Mogart will want to talk with you.
- Hero : Great!
# While I walked further into the mine, memories started to flash before my eyes...killing shadows, minecrawlers and that orc Tarrok. I realised that I miss my old friends.
- Mogart : My name is Mogart! Who are you stranger?
- Hero : I'm a warrior of Innos, his Chosen.
- Mogart : Who is this Innos you talk about. We saw his name in our books found in this mine...who is he?
- Hero : He is a god. One of the three : Innos, Beliar and Adanos.
- Mogart : You speak of things wich we haven't heard before and we're not interested. What is it you want.
- Hero : I want to trade with you. I need weapons and armors so I can't drive the colony wich occupied this land.
- Mogart : Now that is something we could be interested in. What reasons do you have to drive those who are above us?
- Hero : Their leader is an old enemy of mine. My only purpose is to destroy him and his to destroy me.
- Mogart : This is interesting. While I speak with my advisors I invite you to our study room to wait for my decision.
- Hero : Very well!
# I was surprised to see that their "study room" was acctually a room with books, very old books. One of them was on the table and it's name was " Superior Magic ".

# In the few hours I've spent in their library I managed to read a few pages from " Superior Magic ". It seems that Adanos created a higher level of magic intended to be used by
the gods. After a while the three gods had a council (the time when they still spoke with each other) and determined that the spells were very powerfull. One of them called
" Time Plane " had the power to teleport the caster in a chosen time. The caster had to use a "Ring of Time" so a link between the present time and the future or past time.
After a while a few mages found these rings and with the knowledge wich the gods lost in the world they traveled in the future. But Innos stopped them before they reached their
destination and had them punished for their insolence.
- Mogart (rushing in the room) : I said to stay in the room, not read our books.
- Hero : These aren't your books!
- Mogart : We found them so...
- Hero : That doesn't mean anything. Any one could have found them.
- Mogart : If you want our support you will stop with this subject.
- Hero (unpleased) : Of course...
But I have a wish...
- Mogart : Say it.
- Hero : I have two friends with me in the cave not far from here. Can I take to book to them so they will study it? After that I will return it to you.
- Mogart : That's out of the question. (thinking) I have another ideea. They can come in here and study.
- Hero : That's good! I will go and tell them.
- Mogart : Before you go...I want to welcome to our community. Here is an armor. It shall protect you from swords and arrows.
- Hero : Thank you... I will take my leave now.
- Vanderlost : Well there, look who has returned.
- Marthak : We discovered something interesting.
- Hero : Mee to! You go first.
- Marthak : It seems in all these years, this land was changed. Small hearthquakes made caves to close in while others we're opened. It's written in a diary of a traveler
who lived here in the time of the hearthquakes.
- Hero : That would explain how those barbarians found that library.
- Marthak : What library?
- Hero : The people wich live in the mine discovered a library with very old books. One of them is called " Superior magic ". IT's about a spell wich can teleports you
in the future or the past. If I want to destroy Fangorn I'll have to go back in time so can return with an armor and a weapon.
- Vanderlost : You're out of your mind. I never heard of this kind of magic.
- Marthak : After all this time I've spent on this land I saw things that I could not believe to be real. It wouldn't surprise me...
- Hero : I have to talk with Vatras. Did he say how can I reach him?
- Marthak : No!
- Hero : Guess I'll have to find out someway.
- Vatras : What is it you want?
- Hero : Where did you came from?...Have you ever heard of "Superior Magic?
- Vatras : Why do you ask? It's not that easy to hear the story of blood mages.
- Hero : Blood mages?
- Vatras : Long time ago there were 6 priests...They heard the story about how Beliar, Adanos and Innos weren't gods. It is said that the three ate the "Honey of immortality"
and earned their powers. Of course this story isn't true but they did try to use "Time Plane" to return to the time when elves ruled the earth...
- Marthak : But I tought that the elves left this world long time before the first human was born.
- Vatras : That's not true. At least this is what the blood mages thinked. They believed that humans lived with the elves but they were denied to use their magic.
At that time there were three big leaders among the human : Innos, Adanos and Beliar. When they ate the " Honey of immortality", an artifact wich the elves hide it so no one can use it..
- Hero : Not very well...
- Vatras : As I said this theory is wrong...Anyway, because of the greed of humans the elves left this world. The three warlords used the artifact to give themselves the powers of the gods
so they could deceive the rest of their kind. Believing this story the blood mages casted the spell to return in those times so they could use the artifacts on themselves. Bu they didn't knew
that Adanos put a protection spell on the rings of time so when they would be activated he could control the fate of the caster. Adanos cast a powerfull curse on them so they would guard the
rings for eternity.
- Hero : A quite interesting story. But how can I use the spell?
- Vatras : Why on earth would you want to do that?
- Hero : So I could go back in time to gather some powerfull artifacts to destroy Fangorn...
- Vatras : Yes...I'll see if you would have Adanos approval...
- Hero : Why you see arrange this how can I find a ring of time.
- Vatras : A ring of time lies here in the colony in the abandoned mine.
- Hero : In the abandoned mine? Why didn't I knew about this?
- Vatras : I was the only one knowing the purpose of the ring...The other mages had no ideea of it or about it's origins. Wait a minute...how did you found out about them?
- Hero : There was a book in the new mine. The earthquakes revealed an abandoned library full of old books. "Superior Magic" was one of them.
- Vatras : Hmmm...the old library...it should be buried again. That kind of knowledge isn't meant to be used by anybody.
- Hero : So...How can I enter the abandoned mine?
- Vatras : If I can guess the mine has just opened it's doors again.
- Hero : What? You closed the mine?
- Vatras : Well...someone more powerfull than me...
I'll see to it that you will be granted to travel. Meanwhile search for the ring.
- Hero : It should be easy enough. Are the blood mage guarding it?
- Vatras : No! The ore barons killed him. When I sensed the danger I closed the mine. Many people died but...it had to be done. One more thing. Fangorn must not find out what you're doing.
- Hero : Ok.
# After a while I reached the mine. This was my first time when I saw it opened. It looked very creepy to me. My luck was that I found some of the weapons wich belonged to the former ore
barons. I had no ideea what to look for but I kept going forward when I managed to reach at a room filled with bodies and in the middle of the room a giant metalic circle with different symbols.
At that moment Vatras appeared.
- Vatras : It is good that you camed. I asked Adanos for his permission and judging the cause he said that using the " Time Plane " for the second and the last time is a good ideea.
- Hero : So...how can I go?
# End of part 3.
# In one moment I woke up in the middle of a green field. I don't know how much time has passed since I've seen a more beatiful landscape. On one of my fingers a ring appeared from nowhere,
I shouldn't take it off from it. Along the road I saw a farm with some peasants harvesting the field. If I want to find out something about this area I must talk with them.
- Hero : Hy there...where can I find the owner of this land?
- Guard(coming from a small house) : And why would Bernard would want to talk with you?
- Hero : I'm interested in a trade with him.
- Guard : Our master isn't interested in trading. He haves everything he needs. Be gone from this land.
- Hero : Hmmm...Then can I ask you a couple of questions?
- Guard : If the price is right...
- Hero (to himself) So I have to find some money...(to guard) How about some work? Have you need of a working hand?
- Guard : (proudly) This is Lord Bernard's land. If you want to work you will be his slave. In any other case you can go south to the orc camp(laughs) but if we see you with a rogue we won't
hesitate to kill you.
- Hero : Rogues and orcs? Sounds familliar. Thank you for the information...
- Guard : Just leave before I'll have to chop you down.
- Hero (to himself) : You'll get what's yours later...
# After a long walk through a forest I've rest and ate for a hour. I didn't want to see an orc at this moment anyway. Who knows what clan they are. And I don't think they'll be very friendly.
I saw two people sneaking on me in the forest but I'll let them follow me. At this moment I need every information I can get.
Erna : Look Fester...He's going to the orcs. Should we stop him? Those filfty guards chased him away. He could a be a friend.
Fester : Yes Erna but he could be our enemy too. We shouldn't take that risk.
Erna : He doesn't look that dangerous.
Fester : You're right.
Hello there stranger! What brings you to these parts?
Hero : Where are you? Show yourself so we could talk better.
Fester (jumping from a tree) : My name is Fester. This is my wife Erna. We're called rogues.
Hero : I was looking for you. They chased me from that farm and I need information. My name is...
Fester : You're a stranger and this is what matters. This road leads you to the orcs. That's not a wise place to go.
Hero : I saw you earlier and hoped you will talk sooner or later. Thanks for the warning and if you are kind enough can you take me to your camp?
Erna : We can take you there but after you've seen it if you try to run we'll have to kill you because you can be a spy.
Hero : I assure you I'm not a spy. I'm looking for something and after I find it I'll leave these lands.
Fester : It doesn't matter. Soon, Gondor's army will come and destroy us.
Hero : Who's Gondor?
Fester : He's a very powerfull warlord who is at war with the orcs. He owns these lands and won't like our riot.
Erna : We have to go. The roads are dangerous.
Fester : Yes...
# Entering a deeper corner of the forest my mind felt like a raw steel under a smith's hammer. Too much have I seen, too much have I done. When will it stop? I didn't want this to happen.
I'm not a chosen of Innos, when did Innos chose me? I wouldn't agree. I just want to rest as a normal soul.
- Hero : Are we there yet?
- Fester : No! After that corner we'll reach a cave wich leads to a canyon.
- Hero : Ok!
# How many quests can I do? I must have an ending. Beliar can't continue after this. I'll beat him again with the same weapons. Xardas told me of the warlord who used Uriziel and the armor.
This is waht I have to do. And along with this I'll manage to free these people. Here goes nothing...again. When will I get some rest?
- Erna : Here we are!
- Hero : Can I speak with your leader?
- Fester : You already have. Even if I don't like this title.
- Hero : That's very brave of you.
- Fester : What's brave in taking a walk with your wife in the forest?
- Hero : I'll cut the long story and tell you what I need, Uriziel and an ore armor.
- Erna : How can you dare speak that name? That swords serves Gondor. And the armor. You can't be of these parts.
- Hero : I have wielded Uriziel before. It's mine to use and it's powers are mine.
- Fester (wondering) : Then you must our savior. No one in his right mind would say these words if it weren't true.
- Hero : My strength is still weak. My powers are weak.
- Erna : Our trainers will try to restore your powers. But you must train hard.
- Hero : I will do my best. This is my destiny.
- Fester : We wait for the army any day but our sources say that it will reach this land in a few days.
- Hero : Time is not a problem.
- Erna : But your loialty is...How can you believe your words?
- Fester : Erna! This is not the time. If he is what he say he is...we well have a cause to fight for. He will be our leader.
- Hero : I'm just here to take what belongs to me...if I can help you in the meantime then I will.
- Erna : That's enough for me...
# Days have passed...no sign of any army...every day I train hard so I can defeat this Gondor.
- Guard : Fester! Fester! A soldier of Gondor's army is here! He says that we should surrender! Death will await for us if we won't.
- Hero : The time has come!
- Fester : But your trainers say that you aren't ready...you have great potential but you don't have your former powers.
- Hero : You have to understand that this is a matter of fate.
- Erna : We don't believe in fate. Swords and bows are our fate.
- Hero : This is true...but my role in this world is much more important...my enemy is far more dangerous that Gondor. In these days I learned much about him...he his nothing more than a stepstone.
- Fester : it's very hard to believe what you are saying but at this moment we have no choice. (shouting at te crowd) He is our god,our leader...We must believe in him. Nothing more is important now...
Our time has come. We must defeat Gondor so our honor will be completed.
- The crowd : Yes...
- Erna (to the crowd) : FIGHT!!!
# WAR! I'm sick of it. As the hundreds of people ran to their dead I walked slowly to my destiny. Then...it all became clear, an armor wich shine in the sun, a sword wich throwed 2,3 people in one hit.
Uirizel and the ore armor. The weapons wich belong to me. As I walked slowly to Gondor soldiers from his army felled on the ground. When I saw his face he looked at me and knew what was his fate.
DEATH. He started to run towards me...my mind mind knew what would my fate be if I would have to fight with him.I stopped and all of the sudden hundreds of lighting bolts started to fall down from the sky hitting Gondor's army.
He stopped and looked at me. I knew that I wasn't strong enough to defeat him but a ghostly visage falled down from the sky and started to talk.
- Visage : You have no right to use these weapons. Those artifacts are bound to him.
- Gondor : Noooo!
# Hearing these words Gondor went in a rage and started to attack the visage when a light bolt hit him and killed him on sight. I've taken Uriziel in my hands. It's original powers are greater than those
from the colony. I can feel them in my body. When I put the armor on myself Fester camed to me...
- Fester : I don't know who you are. If these weapons help you than good luck to you and your fellow people.
- Hero : Thank you. I hope that you will get what is best in this world.
# After the battle I started to wonder how to return...But then again, why should I return? I could have a simple life here but...it can't be that easy, if I could do this I would remained under the rocks in the temple.
Many died because of me, many died by my hand...it can't all be in vain. If I give up now, the things I've done, no one deserve this fate...I wouldn't have rest until Beliar's creature will be punished. It will be a very
slow death.

# I've remained for a few days to finish the orcs, my powers have regained, I'm the man who I was before...man? I shouldn't be called a man more than the avatar deserves to be called a human. But that won't stop me to do what
it has to be done.
- Erna : I can see in your eyes that you want to return to your home. You have become very strong,stronger that any one in these lands. Can't you stay?
